WE WERE 'tucking in' as father called it and mother's hair which resembled the leaning tower of Pisa without the tilt, was swaying gently in the breeze.
I don't know what attracted one of our feathered friends that were swooping overhead, but suddenly one of the giant seabirds decided to land smack bang in the middle of mother's latest creation with a thud. The startled bird was trying to make a quick getaway but its large paddle-like feet were stuck firmly in what now resembled a lop-sided bundle of candyfloss. The commotion had gathered quite a crowd of onlookers. Mother sat rigid and screamed, father flapped his arms as to imitate the bird itself, and in a moment of panic, picked up the flask with which to render the bird unconscious.See the full content of this document
