CREWE are beating the big freeze with the help of their multi- million pound training facilities. Interim boss Dario Gradi says the Alex are reaping the rewards of investment at their Reaseheath training ground. Games against Torquay and Hereford have fallen victim to the weather and Saturday's home clash with Grimsby is doubtful, but Gradi has been able to conduct full training sessions.

They have been able to use the complex's indoor sports hall and 3G pitch, despite the heavy snow and frost of the last couple of days. Gradi, pictured below, said: "We don't have to worry where we are going to train when the weather is like this.
