A PRISONER who absconded after being sent to an open prison 130 miles from Stoke-on-Trent has been sentenced to an extra four months behind bars. Matthew Windsor was jailed for five-and-a-half years last July after pleading guilty to possession of heroin with intent to supply, Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard yesterday.
He was serving the term at HMP Dovegate on the Staffordshire/ Derbyshire border. But on November 21 this year, after earning category D status, he was moved to Leyhill Prison in Gloucestershire.See the full content of this document
