Summary

The hair Martyn Rhodes, a senior stylist at Hedrush in Piccadilly, Hanley, did Carol's hair. He says: "Carol had coloured her hair blonde, and although it was a little overprocessed I wanted to keep her with a light colour because it complemented her skin and eyes. I gave her a half head of foils and put panels at the front to emphasise the length of her fringe and some through the top to create texture. The colour I added was a caramel blonde and after this I toned her hair using a strawberry gold toner. For the cut I began by cutting the back short and into the neck to create fullness on top, but left it slightly longer at the front. I used Paul Mitchell's styling products to finish and the colour was Schwarzkoff." COST: Carol's cut and colour would have cost Pounds 76. To contact the salon call 01782 266899.

The make-up Sam Smith, a beauty therapist at Hedrush in Piccadilly, Hanley, did Carol's makeup.
