A STOKE City fan killed in a car crash as he went to pick up two friends arrested at a football match was one-and-a-halftimes over the legal drink drive limit, an inquest heard.

Mark Fowles, aged 46, from Alsagers Bank, had travelled to the Potters' game in Blackburn on a coach from Newcastle's Golden Lion pub, and returned home on the same bus after the 0-0 draw.
