THIS is a delightful walk, feeling quite remote. Towards the end, you can see the Clwydian and Shropshire Hills.
The journey: FROM Cauldon Lowe/Hoften Cross walk through the hamlet to a slight right bend in the road and a fs ootpath sign on the left. Take this, across a field passing some old grassed over workings. Once past these, bear right to the bottom right corner of a wall/fence opposite which comes partway down the field. At the corner continue ahead with the fence on the left and a ditch on the right. Continue along, crossing stiles to enter the last field where there is no fence. Keep to the left of the ditch and you reach the far end and a road. Cross over here and turn right. In a few yards turn left, down the farm drive. At the last farm follow the waymarks to enter a field. Cross straight across to a stile by a pond. Go over this and keep the pond to your left.See the full content of this document
