A CHURCH-RUN youth project has received a Pounds 2,700 funding boost which will be spent on new facilities for youngsters.
City Youth, run by Bethel City Church based at Leek Road in Abbey Hulton, has received Pounds 1,500 from The Co-operative and Pounds 1,200 from the Staffordshire Community Fund. The money will be used to buy sofas, chairs and cafe-style tables to improve the group's youth club, which runs at The Stand, on Lower Foundry Street, Hanley, on Friday and Sunday evenings.
