NORTH Staffordshire manufacturer Rackline was understandably disappointed when it missed out on a Pounds 2 million shelving and storage contract at a new library being built in Bir mingham.

And directors at the firm - in Talke, about 50 miles from the library site - were even more miffed when they found out they'd lost out to a company based some 950 miles away in Denmark.
