BURSLEM: A motorcyclist has died after the motorbike he was riding hit a roundabout. The incident happened at around 4.50pm on Saturday, August 15 on the A500 Nantwich bypass at its junction with the A530 Middlewich Road. The motorcyclist, a 39-year-old man from Burslem, was riding an orange Honda motorcycle towards Crewe when he lost control of the bike at the roundabout near the Beefeater pub.

He was taken to Crewe's Leighton Hospital but died on Monday.
