PLAYING at the Newcastle Jazz and Blues Festival was the highlight of folk and country band The Black Widows' career. For it was only the second time the group has performed together in front of a live audience.
The trio made their stage debut at Harry's Bar, in Stoke, four weeks ago after they formed towards the end of last year. And yesterday they played a one-hour, 11-song set in front of dozens of music lovers at Hector Garcia's restaurant and bar, in High Street.See the full content of this document
