BIDDULPH: A weekly surgery for over-60s wanting pensions advice is being scrapped. The Pension Service - which is part of the Department for Work and Pensions - currently holds a weekly drop-in surgery in Biddulph.

But tomorrow's surgery will be the last in its current form. Instead, over-60s will have to make an appointment to see the Pension Service on Tuesdays between 10am and 1pm.
