FENTON: The case of a woman accused of the murder of a 54-year- old Stoke-on-Trent man was due to be heard today. Sabina Eriksson, aged 40, a Swedish national, of no fixed address, but formerly of Mallow, County Cork, Ireland, denies murdering Glen Hollinshead on May 20 last year. Her trial was due to start at Nottingham Crown Court yesterday before Mr Justice Saunders.

Liam Nicholson, who was more than three times over the drink drive limit, is due to fly to the war zone today, his solicitor Hayley Keegan told North Staffordshire Magistrates. STOKE IT UP: Museum visitors have been asked to dig out clothes from almost seven decades ago to get a taste of life during the Second World War.
